Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation 2004: Summary Technical Report: Provides users with a clear overview of the methodology used to develop the Index. An Interactive Map and associated Background Data supplement the summary technical report. More detailed information on the construction of the underlying indicators and the technical methodology used to develop the SIMD 2004 can be found in the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation 2004: Technical Report.
Long term strategy for measuring deprivation in ScotlandThis is a copy of the final report produced in August 2003, by the Scottish Centre for Research on Social Justice (SCRSJ). The Scottish Executive response to this document has also been published. An interim report by the SCRSJ was published in May 2003.

High Level Summary of Equality Statistics: Key Trends for Scotland 2006The HLSES is a compendium of equality statistics which presents statistical trends on the main areas of Government activity in Scotland across a number of equality dimensions including age, disability, ethnicity, gender and in some cases religion. It provides a standardised, concise format for each topic and provides a route into more detailed statistics on earch topic and each equality dimension by listing relevant publications and website.
