Criminal Justice Social Work Statistics
The total number of Community Orders made by courts has increased from 11,600 in 2001-02 to 16,000 in 2006-07. There have been increases across all types of Order, with two new Orders rolled out within this period (Drug Treatment and Testing Orders and Restriction of Liberty Orders).
