The Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 received Royal Assent on 14 July 2005. The Scottish Government is currently working on implementation of the Act.
The Act established the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) as an independent body to award charitable status and regulate all charities in Scotland.
