Scottish Procurement Directorate call-off contracts, framework contracts and framework agreements/arrangements
As procurement is a matter falling within the responsibility of the Scottish Government, Scottish Ministers will have the power to implement EC Public Procurement Directives independently from the rest of the UK.
Procurement Scotland: Cross-sectoral public sector collaborative contracts (Category A)
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Scottish Procurement Directorate (SPD) and Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Buying Solutions encompasses the use of their contracts by Scottish public bodies. If you have a requirement for a commodity that is designated as Category A please refer to the list below. If you are currently using or considering using one of OGCs Buying Solutions contracts please contact Calum Elliot on 0131 244 0454. Central Government Centre of Procurement Expertise: Collaborative contracts (Category B)
A number of collaborative contracts have been put in place on behalf of Scottish Ministers and are open to all bodies across the Scottish Government including agencies, non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs), associated departments, and the wider Scottish public sector. If these contracts are unsuitable, contact the Central Government Centre of Procurement Expertise (CGCoPE) before sourcing from any other Government departments.
