Scotland's First Marine Bill: How to have your say!

  • 7.30pm Wednesday September 17, 2008, Stornoway Town Hall, Isle of Lewis
  • 2.30pm Thursday September 18, 2008, Dark Island Hotel, Isle of Benbecula

CoastHebrides Information events organised in partnership with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and the Scottish Government.

The proposals for Scotland's first Marine Bill have been published and the Scottish Government wants to hear what you think of them. Do you know what options are being suggested and how the proposals might affect your interests?

These local events, which are part of the Scottish Marine Bill's nationwide consultation process, will give you the opportunity to question Senior Government officials on particular aspects of the proposed Marine Bill relating to marine planning, licensing, marine nature conservation, science & data issues and the merging of existing marine related organisations to form Marine Scotland.

CoastHebrides is hosting these events to encourage participation in the consultation process. If you have an interest in coastal and marine matters in the Outer Hebrides this is a meeting you can't afford to miss.

Programme for both locations
