Climate Change Website for Scottish Schoolchildren

The Climate Change in Scotland interactive website aims to show in a fun way how little changes in the way we do everyday tasks can have a positive effect on the environment.

Aimed at pupils aged between nine and 14, the website seeks to raise awareness of climate change and its potential affects on Scotland by showing how different lifestyle choices influence our climate.

Developed by Learning and Teaching Scotland, through funding from the National Grid for Learning Scotland and the Scottish Executive's Environment Group, the website features comprehensive resource materials as well as four interactive games to encourage children to make small changes to their daily lifestyle to help protect the environment. There are also comprehensive resources for teachers, including lesson plans, classroom activities and curriculum mapping.
