IAAGHUNCRUGO International Atmospheric Advisory Group (IAAG)/Halon Users National Consortium Limited (HUNC)/Refrigerant Users Group (RUG)

IAAG, HUNC and RUG are all non-profit making organisations dedicated to the minimisation of Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) in the environment. The site provides technical information on Halons and Refrigerants.

Provides details on (1) OzonAction, which supports the phase out of ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) in developing countries under the Montreal Protocol, through its information clearinghouse and capacity-building services; (2) the Methyl Bromide Alternatives Discussion Forum, which is a discussion forum enabling members to exchange knowledge about issues related to the methyl bromide phase out; and (3) RUMBA Update Service, a monthly electronic news service of the OzonAction Programme that assists developing countries with reducing and eliminating their use of methyl bromide.
