Introduction
The Further and Adult Education Division and Higher Education and Learner Support Divisions have co-ordinated meetings of the Roundtable Forum since its establishment in February 2006. Membership of the Roundtable includes representatives of all key stakeholders from the College and Higher Education Institution sectors. These include the STUC, NUS Scotland, the Scottish Funding Council, Association of Scotland's Colleges, Universities Scotland and the Scottish Government. The Roundtable forum meets on a quarterly basis and to date the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning has chaired the forum biannually.
The key aims of the Roundtable Forum are to establish effective co-operation between the Scottish Government and key stakeholders, and to facilitate engagement and collective discussion. This Forum is now well established.
