The 'Celebrating Success' campaign includes national and local events centred around the celebration of achievements in Scottish education. It kicked off in style with schools and nurseries celebrating their own successes and sharing them with their local communities.
St Andrew's Day 2008
A leaflet for celebrating St Andrew's Day was recently sent to all schools and pre-schools. The leaflet provided a range of ideas for things to do and ways to get involved. A Saltire flag was also sent to every school, pre-school, nursery, playgroup and family centre for use in the celebrations.
Many schools and pre-schools across the country got in touch with us last year to tell us about the exciting activities and events that they arranged. The leaflet showcases some of last year's celebrations. We are very keen for schools to tell us about your plans for St Andrew's Day 2008 and we have arranged for Learning and Teaching Scotland to showcase the celebrations.
