Guidelines for farmers in Nitrate Vulnerable Zones' is available at www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2008/12/12134339, and a copy has been sent to all farmers with land in the designated NVZs. Important information about the temporary exemption for storage requirement and the planned derogation from the 170 kg N/ha farm loading limit, together with the set of 9 booklets explain the requirements of the Action Programme rules that apply from 1 January 2009. The set of booklets provide step by step guidance on how to comply and the blank forms that you will need to complete. The CD-Rom database version for the previous Guidelines is not being replaced.
