Diffuse Pollution Initiative
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency's (SEPA)
Diffuse Pollution Initiative is working in partnership with
a wide range of organisations to quantify the scale of
diffuse water pollution in Scotland and to assess the
effectiveness of measures to address such pollution. Work
is also underway to raise awareness of the causes and
impacts of diffuse pollution with a view to developing
practical solutions and promoting the necessary changes in
land management.
