Next Steps
The report on the
modelling
work undertaken over the winter of 2002-03 suggested
some future steps to further develop the concept of land
management contracts. However the implementation of Land
Management Contracts (LMCs) depends very much on the
outcome of the
Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reform proposals. Once
reforms have been agreed and their impact assessed the
Land
Management Contract Working Group will consider how
best to further develop the LMC concept.
