AGRICULTURE STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION GROUP 2006

Following the publication of A Forward Strategy for Scottish Agriculture: Next Steps on 3 March 2006, a new Agriculture Strategy Implementation Group (ASIG) was established in April 2006 to take forward work on the 22 Action points included in the Next Steps strategy.

The Group's first meeting took place on 14 August 2006 when its terms of reference were agreed. Agenda, papers and minutes from all the Group's meetings are available in the ASIG meetings section. The ASIG is chaired by the Minister for Environment and Rural Development and comprises:
