"The Executive supports in principle the recently
announced EU proposals for small producers where they would
receive an annual payment of up to 1,250 Euros instead of
the current support schemes. More work will be done to
ensure this will be in the interests of Scotland's farmers
and crofters, offering genuine simplification."
Progress
This Action is no longer relevant given decisions on the
implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)
reform agreement.
