Applications are invited for a number of A3 Administrative Officer vacancies currently available in the Scottish Public Pensions Agency and expected over the coming 6 months.
Most of the Agency's 200 staff are engaged in pensions administration within the Operations Directorate, and therefore the majority of our vacancies will involve maintenance of member and scheme records, processing, calculating and paying pension benefits.
We are seeking applicants who meet the following criteria:
Applicants for Office Administrators (A3) must have 5 SCE or Ordinary Grades or equivalents. These qualifications must include English and a subject
that is clearly numeric for example: Mathematics, Accounting and Finance, Arithmetic, Book-keeping, Statistics, Physics.
Please note:
Standard Grades - only grades 1, 2 and 3 are acceptable.
Ordinary Grades - only grades A, B and C (1, 2 and 3) are acceptable.
Other educational qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable.
Office experience would be beneficial and skills required include: good organisational skills; communication skills - both oral and written; basic IT based skills, good inter-personal skills; team-worker; flexibility.
